Franciscus De Gregorovius lumbard

  3. The link works fine (my apologies for not speaking Italian), and thanks, Barrabovich, for this and the other recordings of De Gregori which I got for a friend - and a Patti Smith with Tom Verlaine for me! I also do not understand why blogger killed your post - the legal position is perfectly clear: the radio concerts are clearly in the public domain, as the artist and record company accepted public broadcast of the recording, there has been no official release by RAI/the record company of the material, and no money is being made by the sharer. As for sharing out-of-print CDs, such sharing is permitted under the "fair use" terms of copyright law, so long as the post is withdrawn immediately after official re-release of the CD. So blogger's attitude is incomprehensible - and contrary to copyright law. Many thanks therefore for persisting and making these public recordings available. Cheers, Dave Sez.

  4. The respect goes to you, Barabbovich, for your kindness and dedication in making Italian radio broadcasts available free to all - for your information, you are the only web source for many of the radio recordings you have posted. I am listening now to your Patti Smith in Bologna, a stunning A+ broadcast. To return the gift, you will find in the Patti Smith comments some of my links to more Patti, Tom Verlaine and Television. My next gift of thanks will be in the comments to your posts of Annie Whitehead - maybe less known to you? In which case, belle decouverte!

    Cheers, Dave Sez.
